Acomplia is used complementary to diet and exercise to treat obese or overweight patients who suffer from Type 2 diabetes and abnormal levels of fat in the blood. It can also prevent the risk of cardiovascular disease.

How Taken
The usual dose is one 20 mg tablet to be taken once daily in the morning before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole.

Acomplia works on the CB- 1 receptors which are present throughout the body. Acomplia helps in blocking out these receptors which in turn works on intake of food in an individual and curbs his appetite. Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
